The City of Salida invites you to join us for a magical New Year’s Eve in downtown Salida. Our newest tradition, the lowering of Salida’s giant yellow heart is returning for 2025! Sure to bring smiles and a heartwarming good time, join us as Salida’s shining yellow heart will drop promptly at 9:00pm. Head out early to visit the shops, grab some hot beverages and tasty food in the downtown businesses. Then meet your friends at the intersection of Sackett and F St as Salida’s giant heart will be lowered from the Salida Fire truck ladder. Help us bring in the (almost) New Year Salida style!
