Grief Cafe

Grief Cafe

The Grief Café is a welcoming, informal gathering for anyone living with grief or loss. It might be connected to the death of person or a pet, but it can also arise from non-death losses such as changes in health, identity, relationships, work, or life circumstances.

At the Grief Café, you can expect a relaxed, compassionate atmosphere where listening is valued as much as speaking. This is not a therapy group or a place to “fix” grief. Participants are invited to share as much or as little as they wish. There is no agenda and no requirement to explain or justify your experience. Conversations unfold organically, guided by curiosity, respect, and care. The Grief Café offers connection, presence, and the quiet relief of not having to carry grief alone.

It will be every 2nd Tuesday. Robin Olson, Deb Abbott from Enhabit and Linda will be co-facilitating

Grief Cafe

6266 Cleora Rd, Salida

AcuDetox Clinic

A dedicated, appointment-based AcuDetox session is now available on Tuesdays from 11:00am–12:00pm at the Public Health office (112 Linderman Avenue). AcuDetox also remains available on a walk-in basis from 12:00pm–4:00pm on Tuesdays, alongside other clinic services.

AcuDetox is a gentle, five-point ear protocol designed to support emotional and physical wellness. By placing tiny needles or seeds at specific points on the ear, AcuDetox helps stimulate the body’s natural endorphin release, encouraging relaxation and restoring balance. Sessions are conducted in a quiet, supportive setting and typically last 30–45 minutes, though shorter sessions are available based on individual preference.
