The Noteables
The Noteables
The Noteables, a local women’s chorus, will present their winter concert series, We Are the Lights.
Under the animated direction of Linda Taylor, the chorus will perform a wide variety of seasonal music, including unusual arrangements of Christmas carols, winter ballads, humorous selections and songs of peace, light and love.
We start out with The Little Drummer Boy, partnered with Peace on Earth, followed by Something Told the Wild Geese which tells the poignant story of their winter flight. I Saw Three Ships, Carol of Winter Peace and One Small Lamb bring the Christmas story alive.
The hilarious, bluesy, Candy Covered Gingerbread House, will bring you back to the warm memories of a Christmas kitchen. Put on your dancing shoes for Sing We Now of Christmas, Rise and Shine, We Are the Lights and the quirky One of Those Southern Winters. Plus, many more!
The show will feature Oso Blanco on drums, Joan Ware on solo piano, Kathleen Chiras on electric bass and flautist, Brenda Covert.
Music is healing and has the ability to bring perfect strangers together in laughter, joy and harmony, something that The Noteables are famous for! Join us during these difficult times for a concert series that will lighten your heart and put you in the Christmas spirit
Suggested donation is $15 to help pay for the cost of music and publicity. For more information, call Linda Taylor, 719 539-2428. Tax deductible contributions are appreciated. Visit www.salidasings.org
